A deep sandblast raises the briar’s ring grain into rugged relief, evoking the carved kerbstones of the Newgrange passage tomb. A sterling silver spigot mount rings the shank, Peterson’s renowned silverwork at the join, finished with an acrylic fishtail stem. A rugged, characterful Peterson well suited to the smoker after a sculptural shape that still clenches with ease.
