This example presents a tall, forward-leaning bowl with crisp edges and a broad rim that gives the pipe a commanding presence. The upper bowl is finished in a vibrant red contrast stain, revealing lively briar grain beneath the polished surface. Toward the base, the pipe transitions into Nørding’s signature deep rusticated texture, stained black to create dramatic visual depth.

The bowl’s architectural lines and subtle asymmetry highlight the natural character of the briar, a hallmark of the Danish freehand tradition.
