Peterson Pipes Churchwarden Ebony Silver Mounted (D17) Fishtail

Long of stem and unhurried by design, the Churchwarden trades clench-ability for a cool, easy smoke and a touch of old-world theatre. Here it carries the D17, one of Peterson’s classic D-series Churchwarden bowls — a comfortably long example of the line.

A deep ebony stain lends the smooth bowl a handsome near-black sheen, set off by a bright sterling silver band at the shank. A dressier, silver-banded Churchwarden in Irish briar with a black vulcanite fishtail stem, unfiltered — well suited to the smoker after a classic Peterson Churchwarden for slow, contemplative bowls.
