Peterson Pipes Deluxe System Natural (XL5s) P-Lip

There is a sculptural ease to the System Calabash, its forward-tilting bowl rising from a rounded base into Peterson’s signature trumpeting bell line. In the XL5s, the shape reads as a generously sized, full-bent take on the form. At its heart is Charles Peterson’s patented System: a moisture well sunk into the base of the shank that traps condensation for a markedly cooler, drier smoke.

Reserved for the finest, most highly figured briar in the standard System range, the Natural finish leaves the bowl bright beneath a warm contrast stain that lets the grain read clearly. The shank wears a generous band of hallmarked sterling silver, set by hand in the Peterson workshop. A jet-black P-Lip stem finishes it, sending the smoke gently up and back as Peterson intended.
