Low, wide, and gently squashed, the Prince rides on a short shank with understated Edwardian poise, compact without feeling small. This 406 is a generously long take on the shape. A deep walnut stain settles over the smooth briar with an understated sheen, ringed with a bright nickel ferrule where shank meets stem, finished with a jet-black vulcanite fishtail stem.
A slightly dressier everyday Peterson, the nickel band lending a bit of polish — well suited to the smoker who appreciates a refined, low-slung classic for shorter bowls.
