Angular and assertive, the Bulldog tapers its beaded bowl top and bottom above a diamond shank, a confident shape that stands apart on the rack. In the 150, the shape joins Peterson’s Killarney line, named for the town in southwest Ireland.
The bowl wears a deep, lively red stain over smooth briar, set off by the series’ distinctive dual nickel bands and a black vulcanite fishtail stem. An accessibly priced, good-looking Peterson well suited to anyone drawn to geometry and a little swagger in a traditional pipe.
