Skyline Maduro Robusto (5″x52)

Skyline Maduro is the darker side of the Skyline line, and the Robusto puts it in a compact 5 x 52 format. A dark, oily Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper is rolled over a Nicaraguan binder, and the cigars are made in Nicaragua.

Skyline rates the blend medium to full. The maker describes a dense, aromatic smoke with notes of cocoa, espresso, dark earth and black pepper with a natural sweetness, and the box itself promises espresso, cedar and molasses over the San Andrés leaf.

The robusto keeps the full 52 ring gauge in a shorter length, so it delivers the blend’s depth when there is less time to spare, such as a bold smoke after dinner. Each cigar wears Skyline’s black and silver city-skyline band with a matching Maduro foot band.
