Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario – Toro (6.25″x48)

Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario is Carlito Fuente’s tribute to his father, Carlos Fuente Sr., created to mark thirty years of the Don Carlos blend his father first made in 1976. It belongs to the Fuente Aged Selection and is produced in limited quantities at Tabacalera A. Fuente in the Dominican Republic.

The blend keeps the Dominican binder and filler of the classic Don Carlos but trades its Cameroon wrapper for a Dominican leaf, the same wrapper Fuente uses on Fuente Fuente OpusX. The change makes for a fuller, more intense Don Carlos. Retailers place it in the medium to full range and describe notes of toasted almond, cocoa, caramel and sweet cream, with spice and cedar along the way.

The Toro is the longest size in the line at 6 1/4 x 48, a slimmer, longer format that gives the blend time to develop. Each cigar is dressed in a cedar sleeve finished with a black ribbon at the foot, and they come presented in a box of 10.
