Cornell & Diehl Haunted Bookshop Cake 16oz

Haunted Bookshop is one of Cornell & Diehl’s best-known blends. It was created by the late Bob Runowski and named after Christopher Morley’s classic novel. It’s a bold mix of bright Virginias and nutty Burley, with just enough Perique to add a peppery spice. Smokers have kept it in their cellars for years.

Haunted Bookshop Cake is the same blend, pressed and sliced into an old-fashioned crumble cake. Pressing gives the flavors more time to marry and helps the tobacco age well. Unlike a plug or flake, it needs no rubbing out or folding: just break off a piece, crumble it into the bowl and light up. You get the depth of a pressed tobacco with the ease of a ribbon cut.
