Davidoff Signature 2000 (5″x43) Cigars
Price range: $18.70 through $467.50
The Signature 2000 is Davidoff’s classic corona and, by the company’s own count, its best-selling cigar worldwide. First released in 1976, it reaches its 50th anniversary in 2026, and Davidoff is marking the year with a commemorative seal on the packaging.
It is rolled by hand in the Dominican Republic, with an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Dominican binder and filler. At 5 inches with a 43 ring gauge, it is a little wider than the slimmest sizes in the Signature line, and Davidoff says that extra room lets the blend carry more Dominican Piloto tobacco. The result is the most complex cigar in the line.
Davidoff describes a mild, smooth smoke of about 25 to 40 minutes. Barley, toasted wheat and oak open the first third, cream, brown sugar and floral spice fill the middle, and cedar, dried fruit and black pepper carry the finish, all over the creamy aftertaste the Signature line is known for. Davidoff suggests pairing it with a milky coffee. It is offered here in boxes of 25 and 10 and a pack of 5, plus Tubos versions, each cigar in its own tube, in a box of 20 or a pack of 4.

Davidoff · Signature Line
Signature 2000
Davidoff’s best-selling cigar worldwide, and the corona that has anchored the Signature line for fifty years.
The Tasting Journey
A smooth, mild smoke that changes character from the first light to the final third, all over Signature’s trademark creamy aftertaste.
First Third
The Foot
It opens gently, with grainy barley and toasted wheat over a light backdrop of oak.
Second Third
The Body
The middle turns smooth and creamy, with a touch of brown sugar and a delicate floral spice.
Final Third
The Head
The finish brings soft cedar and dried fruit, lifted by a gentle note of black pepper.
The Blend
Its ring gauge is a little wider than the slimmest Signature sizes, which leaves room for more Dominican Piloto tobacco and a broader range of aromas, while the smoke stays light and the finish creamy.
Cigar Pairing
With a Milk Coffee
Davidoff recommends an aromatic milk coffee alongside the 2000. Its gentle sweetness and creamy texture echo the cigar’s barley, cream and cedar, and it suits the cigar at any time of day.
