Mac Baren Navy Flake 3.5oz

Mac Baren Navy Flake has been part of the Danish company’s lineup since 1965. It blends carefully selected Burley and Virginia leaf with Mac Baren’s own original Cavendish. The tobacco is pressed into cakes and aged for several weeks before it is sliced into flakes. Mac Baren credits that pressing for the blend’s slow, even burn.

Burley gives the blend a nutty, full-bodied base, and the Virginia adds a gentle natural sweetness. The Cavendish rounds out the smoke. Retailers describe a light rum topping that seasons the tobacco without covering it, along with a pleasant room note. Strength sits in the mild-to-medium range, so it suits an everyday bowl as well as smokers moving from ribbon cuts to flake.
