The Churchwarden is the long, languid reading pipe of the briar world — its extended stem cooling the smoke over the distance for a gentle, leisurely draw. Here it carries a straight-walled barrel bowl, cylindrical and sturdy — a comfortably long example of the line.
Peterson’s sandblasting renders the bowl in rugged, textured grain with a grippy hand-feel. An Irish-made briar Churchwarden with a black vulcanite fishtail stem and no filter — well suited to the smoker who likes a sturdy, upright bowl on a long, cool-smoking stem.
