Round-shouldered and full-cheeked, the bent Apple softens the System bowl into one of briar’s friendliest forms, curving toward the jaw and all but vanishing in the palm. In the B42, the shape reads as a comfortably mid-sized take on the form. Like every System pipe, it carries Peterson’s patented reservoir at the foot of the shank, drawing moisture down and away for a cool, dry draw.

The coveted PSB finish denotes a top-grade sandblast, the briar’s ring grain thrown into rugged, tactile relief.
