Round-shouldered and full-cheeked, the Apple is one of briar’s friendliest forms, its soft spherical bowl sitting naturally in the palm. In the 87, the shape reads as a generously sized take on the form, here drawn from Peterson’s filter-drilled Dublin Filter line.

A craggy rustication gives the bowl a rugged, masculine texture, deeply grooved and matte to the touch. Drilled with a 9mm airway, it takes a filter for a cooler, drier smoke, paired with a jet-black vulcanite fishtail stem.
