The Billiard is the yardstick every other pipe is measured against — a straight, cylindrical bowl on a clean shank, all proportion and no fuss. In the 6, the shape joins Peterson’s Killarney line, named for the town in southwest Ireland.
The bowl wears a warm red stain over smooth briar, bright and characterful, set off by the series’ distinctive dual nickel bands and a black vulcanite fishtail stem. An accessibly priced, good-looking Peterson well suited to anyone who values steady balance over flourish.
