The 493 Squat “Cad” Bulldog — in Peterson’s catalog since 1896 — returns as the marque’s 2026 Pipe of the Year. It has the low, wide bowl and twin-bead ring of a proper Bulldog, but with Peterson’s stout diamond shank and tapered P-Lip stem giving it a compact, horizontal stance that clenches easily.
