Caldwell Blind Man’s Bluff Connecticut Magnum (Box of 20)

Robert Caldwell built Blind Man’s Bluff around a filler of San Vicente, a Dominican hybrid leaf, layered with Honduran Criollo ligero and bound in Honduran Criollo. Two years after the original, he traded its Ecuadorian Habano wrapper for a pale Ecuadorian Connecticut shade leaf, and the whole blend settled down around it.

What comes through is cream first: vanilla and cedar, a quiet thread of white pepper underneath, and none of the thinness a Connecticut can fall into. At a 60 ring the filler carries more of the flavor than the wrapper does, and it burns cool over a long sitting. Boxes of 20.
