Long Live the King is the cigar that made Caldwell’s name, and it is deliberately busy: Dominican ligero and Pelo de Oro, Nicaraguan Habano and Peruvian leaf, all under a Dominican Corojo wrapper and binder.
It smokes full — dark chocolate and oak over earth and coffee bean, a dry hay note, and flashes of floral spice. Complex rather than merely strong. My Style is Jalapeño is a 7.25×40 lancero; the wrapper’s share is highest here, and so is the spice. Boxes of 24.
