The Churchwarden is the long, languid reading pipe of the briar world — its extended stem cooling the smoke over the distance for a gentle, leisurely draw. Here it carries the D15, one of Peterson’s classic D-series Churchwarden bowls — a comfortably long example of the line.

Peterson’s sandblasting renders the bowl in rugged, textured grain with a grippy hand-feel. An Irish-made briar Churchwarden with a black vulcanite fishtail stem and no filter — well suited to the smoker after a classic Peterson Churchwarden for slow, contemplative bowls.
