The Zulu tilts a Dublin-ish bowl over an oval shank and bent stem, rakish and a little old-fashioned in the best way. In the 268, the shape joins Peterson’s Killarney line, named for the town in southwest Ireland.
The bowl wears a warm red stain over smooth briar, bright and characterful, set off by the series’ distinctive dual nickel bands and a black vulcanite fishtail stem. An accessibly priced, good-looking Peterson well suited to anyone who wants a characterful bent shape away from the usual rounds.
