The bent Bulldog brings the shape’s beaded, diamond-shanked bowl into a curve, angular character with an easier line to the teeth. In the 80s, the shape joins Peterson’s Killarney line, named for the town in southwest Ireland.
The bowl wears a warm red stain over smooth briar, bright and characterful, set off by the series’ distinctive dual nickel bands and a black vulcanite fishtail stem. An accessibly priced, good-looking Peterson well suited to the smoker who wants the Bulldog’s edge in a comfortable clenching shape.
