The Lestrade takes its name from Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard, and like every pipe in Peterson’s Sherlock Holmes line it is an oversized Bent Apple with real presence in the hand.
Peterson’s warm, mid-brown Heritage stain glows over the smooth bowl, with a sterling silver band hand-set at the shank — Peterson’s hallmark silverwork. The Lestrade wears a jet-black vulcanite P-Lip bit, the signature mouthpiece that lifts smoke up and away from the tongue. A big, characterful pipe with genuine literary pedigree.
