The Mycroft takes its name from Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock’s formidable elder brother, and like every pipe in Peterson’s Sherlock Holmes line it is an oversized Bent Dublin with real presence in the hand.
Peterson’s warm, mid-brown Heritage stain glows over the smooth bowl, with a sterling silver band hand-set at the shank — Peterson’s hallmark silverwork. The Mycroft wears a jet-black vulcanite P-Lip bit, the signature mouthpiece that lifts smoke up and away from the tongue. A big, characterful pipe with genuine literary pedigree.
