The Colombina takes its name from the comedic heroine of the commedia dell’arte, and like the rest of the line it appears in just one form — Savinelli’s 673 King Size Rhodesian, where a rounded, almost spherical bowl meets the angular shank of a Bulldog. The smooth Natural finish is its dressiest expression.
A warm, clear natural stain lets the briar’s grain show in full, contrasted by the line’s playful blue-and-red swirled acrylic stem and a 6mm filter. A refined, expressive pipe that wears its Italian theatricality well.
