Craggy ring grain wraps the bowl of this stand-up Savinelli poker, every growth ring thrown into relief by a deep sandblast. The 311 KS is the King Size rendition of the shape — a tall, gently forward-canted cylinder with a roomy chamber — yet it keeps the trim, balanced proportions that let it sit upright on a desk with no stand required.

Across the high points the blasted briar reads almost black, while oxblood and warm chestnut tones rise from the recesses where the stain settles into the grain. It’s a contrast finish with real depth: the rim is left craggy and unsmoothed, and the flat heel carries the same rugged texture, so the whole stummel feels carved from a single rough-cut block.

A glossy black saddle stem steps down from the shank with the faintest downward turn, marked by Savinelli’s calling card — the small gold Punto Oro dot inlaid at the top, with a fine band of white dots ringing the stem at the junction. The shank is stamped SAVINELLI over 311 KS, with PUNTO ORO and ITALY beneath, and it’s drilled for the brand’s 6mm balsa filter, so it smokes filtered or open.
