The Churchwarden is the long, languid reading pipe of the briar world — its extended stem cooling the smoke over the distance for a gentle, leisurely draw. Here it carries an upright tankard bowl, straight-sided like its namesake mug — a comfortably long example of the line.
A deep sandblast raises the briar into craggy, tactile ring-grain relief. An Irish-made briar Churchwarden with a black vulcanite fishtail stem and no filter — well suited to the smoker drawn to a bold, straight-sided bowl with real presence.
