Low, wide, and gently squashed, the Prince rides on a short shank with understated Edwardian poise, compact without feeling small. In the 406, the shape joins Peterson’s Killarney line, named for the town in southwest Ireland.
The bowl wears a warm red stain over smooth briar, bright and characterful, set off by the series’ distinctive dual nickel bands and a black vulcanite fishtail stem. An accessibly priced, good-looking Peterson well suited to the smoker who appreciates a refined, low-slung classic.
