Round-shouldered and full-cheeked, the Apple is one of briar’s friendliest forms, its soft spherical bowl sitting naturally in the palm. In the 86, the shape reads as a comfortably mid-sized take on the form, here in the ancient-Ireland-inspired Newgrange Spigot line.

Left smooth, the bowl shows its grain beneath a clean stain. A sterling silver spigot mount rings the shank, Peterson’s renowned silverwork at the join, finished with an acrylic fishtail stem.
