A bright, undyed natural finish leaves the smooth bowl’s grain in full view, with a sterling silver band hand-set at the shank — Peterson’s hallmark silverwork. The Lestrade wears a jet-black vulcanite P-Lip bit, the signature mouthpiece that lifts smoke up and away from the tongue. A big, characterful pipe with genuine literary pedigree.
